What is Copy Trading Merged Position ?
In Merged Position Mode, users can participate in copy trading, and traders can enable lead trading.
For example, if User C enables Merged Position Mode and follows Trader A (using Isolated Position Mode) and Trader B (using Merged Position Mode):
• When Traders A and B open positions, User C will copy A’s isolated position and B’s merged position separately.
Closing Rules
• In Merged Position Mode, users and traders can only fully close positions, partial closing is not supported.
Profit Sharing Rules
•Profit sharing is calculated based on the initial copy trade ratio at the time of entry.
• If additional funds are added to the position, profit sharing remains based on the original entry ratio.
Take Profit & Stop Loss (TP/SL)
•TP/SL is recalculated each time a copy trade adds to a position.
•For long positions, the new Take Profit price must be higher than the current price, and the Stop Loss price must be lower. Otherwise, TP/SL remains unchanged.
•For short positions, the new Take Profit price must be lower than the current price, and the Stop Loss price must be higher. Otherwise, TP/SL remains unchanged.
Copy Trading Rules
• User’s manual orders and copy trade positions are separate.
• If a user opens a BTC/USDT manual trade and follows Trader A’s BTC/USDT position, the user will hold two separate BTC/USDT positions, and they will not be merged.
• The position mode follows the trader:
•If the trader uses Isolated Position Mode, the copied position will also be isolated.
•If the trader uses Merged Position Mode, the copied position will also be merged.
Leverage Adjustment
• Changing the leverage on the contract page only affects manual trades and does not change copy trade leverage.
• Traders holding merged lead positions cannot adjust leverage for that trading pair.
• Users holding merged copy trades cannot modify leverage settings in the copy trading menu.
