How to Complete the IBIT KYC?

KYC 1: Initial Identity Verification

1. Click on the top "identity verification" entrance on the homepage of the app.

2. Click "Verification."

3. Choose the issuing country or region, select the type of document you want to use, and then click "Next."

4. Enter your name, surname (please separate your first and last names), date of birth, and document number.

5. Take or upload clear, colored photos of the document.

6. Take a clear, non-reflective, unobstructed photo of your face.

7. Wait for the identity verification to be approved.

KYC 2: Video Verification

1. Click on the upper right corner of the homepage to enter the personal center.

2. Click on "Verification" below the user UID.

3. Click "Start Verification."

4. Click on video verification to start the process.

5. Click "Start Recording," turn on the camera, keep the lighting even and bright, appear in the frame, and read aloud "I have confirmed to undergo IBIT video identity verification."

6. Confirm whether it is clear or reshoot, and confirm the upload after no errors.

7. Wait for the verification to be confirmed and approved.

*Note:

1. Please use your own identification documents for identity verification. IBIT is not responsible for any consequences arising from the use of someone else's identity for verification.

2. Currently, only ID cards or passports are supported. Student IDs, work visas, tourist visas, etc., are not supported.

3. The document must be issued by the government of the user's country or region of residence, and the document photo should be a clear, unmodified, and clear colored photo.

4. During video verification, please ensure even and bright lighting, and only one person should be in the frame. Avoid behaviors that affect the confirmation of your appearance, such as wearing hats or glasses.
