Please read and fully understand this Agreement before using IBIT’s on-chain deposit, withdrawal, or other digital asset transfer services.
By selecting “I Confirm and Agree to the Above Agreement” or continuing to use the relevant services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement, the IBIT User Agreement, and other applicable rules published by the Platform.
1. Scope of Application
- This Agreement applies to digital asset deposits, withdrawals, address book functions, abnormal deposit handling, and other related on-chain services provided by IBIT.
- Different digital assets, blockchain networks, and transfer channels may be subject to different rules. Supported assets and networks, fees, minimum amounts, confirmation requirements, and service availability are subject to the real-time information displayed on the relevant deposit or withdrawal page.
- IBIT may adjust its deposit and withdrawal rules due to network conditions, security controls, wallet maintenance, technical upgrades, operational requirements, or compliance obligations.
2. Deposit Instructions
Before making an on-chain deposit, you must carefully verify the following information on the IBIT deposit page:
- The digital asset;
- The blockchain network;
- The currently valid deposit address;
- The Memo, Tag, reference, or other required identifying information;
- The minimum deposit amount;
- The required number of blockchain confirmations;
- Any other notices displayed on the deposit page.
You must ensure that the asset, network, and all other information selected on the sending platform or wallet exactly match the information displayed on the IBIT deposit page.
You are responsible for any failure to credit or loss of assets resulting from selecting the wrong asset or network, entering an incorrect address, omitting or incorrectly entering a Memo or Tag, depositing less than the minimum amount, or any other user error.
3. Deposit Address Management
- IBIT may update deposit addresses due to wallet upgrades, security maintenance, blockchain network changes, or other operational requirements.
- Before every deposit, you must reopen the IBIT deposit page and verify the currently valid deposit address. You should not rely solely on previous deposit records.
- Historical screenshots, copied records, browser caches, chat records, address books, or addresses saved on third-party platforms must not be treated as proof of a currently valid deposit address.
- If IBIT notifies you that a deposit address has been updated, you must promptly update the address stored in your personal wallet, third-party platform, or other application.
- Unless otherwise expressly stated on the deposit page or in an official announcement, a previous deposit address may cease to be valid after an address update.
- Depositing to an expired or discontinued address may result in delayed crediting, failure to automatically credit the assets, or permanent loss.
4. Withdrawal Instructions
Before submitting an on-chain withdrawal request, you must carefully verify:
- The digital asset;
- The blockchain network;
- The recipient address;
- The Memo, Tag, reference, or other required identifying information;
- The withdrawal amount and network fee;
- Whether the receiving platform supports the selected asset and network;
- Any other notices displayed on the withdrawal page.
Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Once a withdrawal request has passed IBIT’s review and has been broadcast to the blockchain network, IBIT cannot cancel, reverse, or modify the transaction on your behalf.
You are responsible for any loss resulting from an incorrect recipient address, incorrect network selection, an unsupported receiving platform, or a missing or incorrect Memo or Tag.
5. Processing Times and Network Confirmations
- Deposited assets will only be credited after the transaction reaches the number of blockchain confirmations required by IBIT.
- Withdrawal processing times depend on IBIT’s review process, wallet processing speed, blockchain network conditions, and the confirmation rules of the receiving platform.
- Network congestion, node failures, wallet maintenance, security reviews, risk controls, or blockchain upgrades may delay deposits or withdrawals.
- A transaction shown as successful on a blockchain explorer does not necessarily mean that it has reached the confirmation requirements of IBIT or the receiving platform.
- IBIT does not guarantee a fixed processing or arrival time for transactions handled by blockchain networks or third-party platforms.
6. Suspension and Restriction of Services
IBIT may suspend, delay, or restrict some or all deposit and withdrawal services under any of the following circumstances:
- Wallet maintenance, system upgrades, or technical failures;
- Blockchain mainnet upgrades, hard forks, or node failures;
- Network congestion, on-chain security incidents, or smart contract risks;
- An account is subject to a security review or risk control;
- A user has not completed the identity verification required by IBIT;
- Regulatory, judicial, or other compliance requirements;
- Other circumstances that IBIT reasonably determines may affect the security of user or Platform assets.
The resumption time will be subject to the information displayed on the deposit or withdrawal page, in-platform notifications, or official announcements.
7. Abnormal Deposits and Asset Recovery
Abnormal deposits include, but are not limited to:
- Deposits made to an expired or discontinued address;
- Deposits made through an incorrect blockchain network;
- Deposits of assets not supported by IBIT;
- Deposits with a missing or incorrect Memo or Tag;
- Deposits below the minimum crediting amount;
- Deposits made through unsupported smart contracts, cross-chain bridges, or special transfer methods;
- Other deposits that cannot be identified or automatically credited.
If an abnormal deposit occurs, please contact IBIT Customer Support promptly and provide the following information as requested:
- Your IBIT UID;
- The deposited asset and amount;
- The blockchain network used;
- The deposit address;
- The transaction hash (TxID);
- Records from the sending platform or wallet;
- Any other supporting information requested by IBIT.
IBIT will assess whether assistance is technically and securely feasible based on the asset type, blockchain network, wallet infrastructure, address status, security requirements, and other relevant factors.
Submitting a recovery request, or IBIT accepting it for review, does not guarantee that the assets can be recovered or credited. Recovery may take an extended period and may incur network fees, technical handling fees, or other reasonable charges.
IBIT may reject a recovery request if the assets cannot reasonably be recovered or if the recovery process may affect the security of the Platform or other users’ assets.
8. Fees
- On-chain withdrawals may incur network fees. The applicable amount will be displayed on the withdrawal page.
- Network fees may be adjusted dynamically according to blockchain network conditions.
- The receiving platform may charge separate deposit, processing, or service fees. Such fees are determined by the relevant third party.
- Abnormal deposit recovery may incur additional charges, subject to IBIT’s assessment and the actual handling requirements.
9. Account and Transaction Security
- Only use the official IBIT App, official website, or Web platform to access deposit and withdrawal services.
- Do not use deposit addresses provided by unofficial customer support accounts, social media messages, group chats, emails, or other unverified sources.
- After copying an address, verify its beginning and ending characters as well as the complete address to protect against clipboard hijacking, malicious software, or address substitution.
- When transferring to a new address for the first time, consider making a small test transfer before sending a larger amount.
- Protect your account password, verification codes, devices, and identity information. Do not disclose them to anyone.
- IBIT personnel will never request your password, SMS verification code, authenticator code, seed phrase, or private key.
- If you notice any abnormal account activity, suspicious address, or unauthorized transaction, immediately stop using the deposit and withdrawal services and contact IBIT Customer Support.
10. Risk Control and Compliance Review
- To protect accounts and assets, IBIT may conduct security or compliance reviews of deposits, withdrawals, account activity, and sources of funds.
- You must provide truthful, accurate, and complete identity information, transaction explanations, or proof of source of funds as requested by IBIT.
- If you refuse to cooperate with a review, provide false information, or engage in suspicious activity, IBIT may delay, reject, or restrict the relevant deposit or withdrawal services.
- You must not use IBIT’s services for money laundering, fraud, illegal fundraising, market manipulation, sanctions evasion, or any other unlawful activity.
11. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Confirming that the selected asset, network, address, and Memo or Tag are correct;
- Confirming that the receiving platform supports the relevant asset and network;
- Ensuring that the deposit or withdrawal amount complies with the applicable minimum and maximum limits;
- Verifying the currently valid deposit address before every deposit;
- Protecting your account and security verification information;
- Complying with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and Platform rules.
You are responsible for any loss resulting from your failure to perform the required verification or comply with applicable security and compliance obligations.
12. Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, IBIT will not be liable for delays or losses caused by blockchain network failures, third-party platform or wallet failures, network congestion, cyberattacks, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond IBIT’s reasonable control.
- If deposit or withdrawal information is displayed incorrectly due to an IBIT system issue, IBIT will investigate the circumstances and provide a reasonable resolution in accordance with applicable law and Platform rules.
- Any assistance provided by IBIT in connection with abnormal assets does not constitute a guarantee that the assets will be recovered, credited within a particular period, or handled with a particular outcome.
- Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Amendments and Effectiveness
- This Agreement forms a supplementary part of the IBIT User Agreement. Matters not addressed herein will be governed by the User Agreement and other applicable Platform rules.
- IBIT may amend this Agreement based on technical, security, operational, or compliance requirements. The updated Agreement will be published on the Platform and will take effect at the stated time.
- If you do not agree to this Agreement or any updated terms, you must stop using the relevant on-chain deposit and withdrawal services.
By confirming your acceptance, you acknowledge that:
- You understand that blockchain transactions are irreversible;
- You agree to verify the asset, network, address, and other required information before every deposit or withdrawal;
- You understand that deposit addresses may change due to system or security upgrades;
- You understand that abnormal deposits may not be recoverable and may incur processing fees;
- You agree to comply with this Agreement and all other applicable IBIT Platform rules.
