1. What is the “IBIT Futures Trading Gold Rush”?

Contract Gold Rush is a seasonal challenge designed for futures traders.

During each season, achieve the required net profit milestones to progressively unlock USDT rewards, which you can manually claim to your funding account.

Each season has a total prize pool and multiple profit tiers — rewards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until the pool is depleted.

2. Event Access & Season Details

Access: IBIT App / Web → Homepage → Gold Rush

Details: On the event page, you can view the current season, start/end time, supported trading pairs, total prize pool, remaining rewards, and real-time countdown (Upcoming / Ongoing / Ended).

3. How to Participate

Log in to your IBIT account.
During the season, trade contracts using the supported pairs displayed on the event page.
Once your net profit reaches a tier milestone, that tier’s reward is automatically unlocked.
Manually claim the unlocked reward on the event page — it will be credited to your funding account.
If KYC LV1 is required for this season, please complete verification before joining.

Multiple tiers can be unlocked and claimed cumulatively, but each tier reward can only be claimed once.

4. Calculation & Rules

Net Profit Definition

Net Profit = The total realized PnL from all closed futures positions during the season.
Excluded from calculation: PnL from copy-trading, signal-trading, or high-frequency orders; PnL from ultra-high leverage orders (200x / 500x)
Only the trading pairs listed on the event page are counted toward the statistics.

Refresh Frequency

Progress & unlock status are updated every 10 minutes.
The page will refresh automatically after reward claim or manual refresh.

5. Event Page Features

Season (Ongoing / Upcoming / Ended)

Displays each season by number, allowing you to check current and past seasons easily.

Event Details Section

Season & Status: Displays start/end time and whether the season is active.
Supported Pairs: Only these pairs count towards your profit progress.
Prize Pool & Remaining: Shows total pool and remaining amount (real-time).
Countdown: Displays end time countdown when ongoing, start countdown if upcoming.

Task Section

Claimed: Total rewards already claimed this season (excludes unlocked but unclaimed rewards).

To Claim: Rewards unlocked but not yet claimed.

Claim Button Logic: Clickable when Rewards (To Claim)> 0 and all requirements are met.

If KYC not completed (when required): show “Please complete KYC verification before claiming.”
If insufficient prize pool balance: show “You can claim up to {remaining pool amount}.”
If pool is depleted or season inactive: disable button and display message.
For temporary unavailability, follow on-screen prompts and try again later.

Progress: Displays your current profit progress and next milestone (updates every 10 minutes).

Trade Now: One-click to jump to BTCUSDT contract trading page.

Total Rewards

Displays your historical total claimed rewards from all Contract Gold Rush seasons (excludes unlocked but unclaimed).

Leaderboard & Scrolling Banner

Visible after login
Shows total rewards ranking and current season ranking
Displays Top 50 — if you are outside Top 50, shows “50+” in “My Ranking”
Displays nickname first, or anonymized UID (e.g. 22***22)
Rankings update after page refresh or reward claim scrolling banner Top 50 winners’ nicknames or anonymized UIDs

Logged-in users can share the event:

6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: Why wasn’t my trade counted?

Possible reasons:

Trading pair not supported
Position not closed yet
Trade was copy trade / lead trade / high-frequency order / used 200x–500x leverage
Data not refreshed yet (updates every 10 minutes)

Q2: How do I claim rewards after unlocking?

Go to the event page, click Claim in the Task section — rewards will be credited to your funding account.

Q3: What if the prize pool is insufficient?

You may claim partially up to the displayed remaining pool amount. If the pool is exhausted, you must wait for the next season to participate again.

Q4: Is the leaderboard real-time?

Leaderboard updates after page refresh or reward claim, with up to 10 minutes delay.

Q5: Does progress carry over to the next season?

No — each season is settled independently.

Q6: How are abnormal behaviors handled?

Wash trading, fake volume, or rule exploitation will result in disqualification, reward cancellation, and further actions as per platform rules.

Q7: Is KYC required?

Depends on the season’s rules — check the event page for the current requirement.

Q8: How is contract net profit calculated?

By summing your realized PnL on supported pairs (excludes copy trades, high-frequency, and ultra-high leverage orders).
